Western Kentucky University Shots Fired on School's South Campus, Armed Gunmen Still Loose
Reports of gunfire at Western Kentucky University, located in Bowling Green, KY, has led to a lockdown of a residence hall on the school's south campus, home to Bowling Green Community College.
The Pierce-Ford Hall has reportedly been locked down after armed gunmen entered the dormitory and began firing. There have been no reports of injuries but information as to what has happened inside the residence hall is not yet known.
A text message has been sent out verifying the gunshots and a S.W.AT. team has been placed around the Pierce-Ford Hall to secure the area.
